To apply the Natural Step Framework towards the design of systemic and strategic responses to climate change.
Join us in exploring, through a facilitated dialogue, a systematic process to align responses to climate change with a broad sustainability vision.
We will bridge the human and scientific dimensions of climate change, starting with an inquiry into society's interactions with natural systems at a principle level.
Working from a vision of a fully sustainable human society, we will engage in a creative and solutions oriented dialogue, to design strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Karen Miller
Karen grew up in Canada, where her love for the outdoors led her to pursue a degree in environmental science. Her area of focus is water and atmosphere, and her work has ranged from outdoor environmental education, to groundwater research in the prairies of Canada. Though her passion for water and science has never faded, it has expanded to include the sustainability movement in all its diversity. After moving to Sweden to earn her MSc in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability, she joined the instructional team at the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona. Here, she teaches, develops course curricula, and has designed and facilitated workshops in topics ranging from thermodynamics to participatory leadership - all framed within the context of strategic sustainable development. Karen loves being part of a community that brings creativity to their work, for the purpose of bringing about positive change in the world.

Tim Nichols (Virtual Remarks)
Having always been concerned about why we have created a system which is inherently limited, Tim got involved with sustainability. He holds a Master's in Strategic Sustainable Development and wrote his thesis on strategic climate change adaptation for businesses. Currently, he lives in London and works on a variety of projects. He runs workshops on sustainability for various organisations, works as a host at Hub Kings Cross, and he is the project manager for the Brixton Pound, a complementary currency for Brixton in South London. This projects supports local, independent business, helps develop strong community relations, and works as a sub-group within the larger Transition Town Brixton movement. Outside of this, he spends time writing, biking, and playing guitar.
